The Evlent learning portal open in an online tutoring workspace

Evlent Education

Built from four years of teaching, one learner at a time

Evlent Education combines personal one-to-one lessons with the planning, records and follow-through families need to trust the process.

Why it exists

Good tutoring needs more than a weekly video call

A capable tutor matters, but so do the details around the lesson. The learner needs the right plan, the tutor needs accurate context and the family needs to know what was taught and what should happen next.

Evlent keeps tutor matching, scheduling, individual learning plans, lesson summaries, assessments and family updates connected. The teaching remains personal; the practical work around it becomes clear and accountable.

I built Evlent because a good lesson should not disappear when the call ends

B.Tech in Computer Science · Mathematics tutor · 4 years' online teaching experience

I have spent four years teaching Mathematics online, from upper-primary foundations through KS3 and GCSE. That experience taught me that progress rarely comes from giving a student more work. It comes from finding the exact point where their understanding became uncertain, explaining it clearly and building from there at the right pace.

I hold a B.Tech in Computer Science and have taught learners based in the UK and Europe, including students following a UK curriculum while living abroad. I built Evlent after seeing useful information disappear between video calls, messages and separate documents. The portal keeps each student's learning plan, lesson record, progress, reports and study materials connected, so every lesson starts with context.

I personally review every parent enquiry and tutor match. I consider the learner's year, exam board, subject, goals, time zone and availability, then compare those needs with the tutor's subject knowledge, teaching approach and schedule. I arrange the free trial, agree the first learning priorities and continue reviewing the match after regular lessons begin.

How Evlent works

A tutor, a learning plan and a record families can follow

01

A considered tutor match

Subject knowledge, level, teaching style, time zone and availability are checked together.

02

An individual learning plan

The assigned curriculum can be adjusted for one student without changing another student's plan.

03

A record after each lesson

Teaching notes, curriculum progress and assessment reports show what happened and what needs attention.

04

Private access by role

Students, tutors and parents see the information needed for their own account, while administration remains private.

One connected record

The portal supports the teaching rather than replacing it

Students can find their classes, learning plans, progress, reports and study materials in one place. Tutors can prepare for the right learner and record what they taught. Parents can follow lesson summaries, attendance, reports and payments without entering the tutor's working area.

The result is a clearer tutoring relationship: the lesson remains personal, while the practical details and evidence of progress stay organised.

From enquiry to review

What happens after a family gets in touch

  1. 1

    Understand the need

The learner's year, board, subject, goals, schedule and current challenges are discussed.

  2. 2

    Propose the tutor

A tutor is selected for the specific learner and arrangement, not only by a subject label.

  3. 3

    Begin with a plan

The free trial checks teaching fit and helps define the first learning priorities.

  4. 4

    Review the evidence

Lesson notes, curriculum progress and assessments keep the next priorities visible.
