At a glance
Evlent Education does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels or third-party analytics cookies on its public website. Visitors can read service information, use free quizzes and download learning resources without accepting a cookie banner or providing an email address.
The private learning portal needs limited session and browser storage so an authorised student, parent or tutor can remain signed in and use the account safely. These mechanisms are used for service operation and security, not advertising.
The public website
The public website does not place cookies to build advertising profiles or follow visitors across other websites. It does not load third-party advertising networks or consumer analytics platforms.
To understand whether public pages and free resources are useful, Evlent records a small number of first-party interaction events on its own hosting. Examples include a page view, a free-resource download, starting an enquiry form or submitting a parent request. This measurement is cookie-free. It does not store a visitor's name, email address or form answers as part of the interaction event, and it does not use the event to advertise to that person elsewhere.
A short-lived random journey identifier may exist only for the current browser session so related steps can be counted together. The server stores a keyed hash rather than the original identifier. It is not used as a long-term identity or shared with an advertising platform. More information about retention and form data is available in the Privacy Policy.
The private learning portal
When an authorised user signs in to the private portal, the browser may store an authentication session, role information and limited interface preferences. This allows the service to:
- keep the correct student, parent or tutor signed in between page changes;
- enforce the account's permissions and prevent one user from seeing another user's private records;
- protect forms and account actions from unauthorised requests;
- remember essential display or workflow state needed for the portal to operate; and
- sign the user out when the session expires or the account is no longer authorised.
These storage items are essential to the service requested by the account holder. They are not used to create advertising profiles. Portal users should sign out on shared devices and should not allow another person to use their credentials.
Links to external services
The public website and portal may contain links to services such as Zoom, Google Meet, email or a telephone application. Evlent does not control cookies or storage placed after a user follows a link to another provider. That provider's own privacy and cookie terms apply on its website or application.
Simply viewing an Evlent page does not automatically authorise those external services to set advertising cookies through Evlent. External content is not embedded where it is unnecessary.
Your browser choices
Most browsers allow cookies and site data to be viewed, cleared or blocked. Blocking all site storage may prevent portal sign-in, secure account actions or saved preferences from working correctly. Public service pages and downloadable resources should remain available without optional cookies.
If you believe Evlent has stored something unexpectedly, contact info@evlenteducation.com. Please include the page used and the approximate time, but do not send a password, private meeting link or identity document.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated if the website begins using a new category of cookie or similar technology. Evlent will not describe advertising or analytics cookies as essential. If a future feature genuinely requires consent under applicable law, the choice will be presented before that optional technology is used.
