Who we are
Evlent Education provides personalised online tutoring and operates this website and learning portal. Deepak Yadav is responsible for Evlent Education and acts as the data controller for personal information processed through these services. Privacy questions, access requests and corrections can be sent to info@evlenteducation.com or +91 9076043682.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:
- contact details for parents, guardians, students, tutors and applicants;
- a student's first name, year group, subjects, curriculum, time zone, lesson schedule, attendance, assessments and progress;
- tutor qualifications, experience, availability, assigned work, attendance and payment records;
- family quotations, invoices, payments, rates and other records needed to provide and account for tutoring;
- profile images that a portal user chooses to upload;
- technical and security information such as login activity, device or browser details and hashed network identifiers;
- limited campaign attribution such as UTM labels, the first page visited and the referring website domain, when supplied by the browser; and
- cookie-free website interaction events such as a page view, call-to-action click, form start, diagnostic completion or resource download, together with a session-scoped random journey identifier and a short-lived pseudonymous anti-abuse fingerprint. The server stores only a keyed hash of the journey identifier, not the identifier itself;
- messages and information voluntarily submitted through our enquiry, application or support channels.
Please do not submit health, identity or other sensitive documents through the public website forms.
Why and how we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, assess tutor applications, arrange and deliver tutoring, understand which outreach, page or campaign brought an enquiry, measure the aggregate path from a page visit to a parent request, manage schedules and meeting links, record attendance and progress, provide portal access, maintain financial records, protect users and the service, resolve problems, and meet legal obligations.
If a parent separately chooses the optional marketing checkbox, we may also send occasional learning guidance and Evlent tutoring updates by email. That choice is not required to request a tutor match or trial, and consent can be withdrawn at any time by replying or contacting us.
Depending on the relationship and applicable law, we rely on steps requested before a tutoring arrangement, performance of our agreement, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, legal obligations, and consent where that is the appropriate basis. We do not sell personal information.
Children and student information
Most student information is provided or approved by a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians should explain this policy to the student in an age-appropriate way and provide only information needed for tutoring. Students have privacy rights in their own information. We will handle a request from a student or guardian carefully, taking age, understanding, safety and applicable law into account.
Student and tutor accounts are private. A student cannot view another student's profile, and tutors receive access only to learners and records assigned to them. Administrators may access records to operate, support and protect the service.
Service providers and international delivery
We share information only where needed with the assigned tutor, the relevant student or guardian, and providers that support hosting, email, video meetings or other essential operations. Public enquiries and tutor applications are processed directly on Evlent Education's secured hosting and retained only for handling enquiries, tutor recruitment and administration.
Evlent operates across countries, and tutors, families or technology providers may be located outside your country. This can involve international access or transfer. We limit access to what is needed and use account controls, contractual terms and provider safeguards where available.
How long information is kept
- Public enquiries and unsuccessful tutor applications are normally removed within 18 months of the last meaningful contact.
- Active tutoring, progress, communication and tutor records are kept while needed to provide the service and for a reasonable period afterwards.
- Financial and contractual records are kept for the period required for accounting, tax, dispute and legal purposes.
- Routine portal activity logs are normally kept for up to 7 days, unless an entry is needed longer to investigate security, safeguarding or misuse.
- Cookie-free aggregate website interaction events are normally kept for approximately 90 days. Scheduled cleanup removes events once they are more than 90 days old and clears anonymous journey hashes and the pseudonymous network fingerprint once an event is more than 24 hours old. An accepted parent enquiry event can remain linked to its corresponding request during that event-retention period so the enquiry funnel can be measured accurately. Raw journey identifiers, network addresses and full user-agent strings are not stored in the website event table.
We may remove information earlier when it is no longer needed or retain specific records longer where required by law or a genuine dispute, safety or security need.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to explain the information we hold, provide a copy, correct it, restrict or object to certain use, or delete it where applicable. You may also withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. Some requests may be limited by legal, safeguarding, contractual or record-keeping duties.
Account holders can start a verified deletion request through our account deletion page. Other privacy requests can be sent to info@evlenteducation.com. We may need to verify identity before disclosing, changing or deleting account information. If you are in the UK or EEA, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security, forms and cookies
We use role-based portal access, password protection, encrypted connections, server-side validation, spam controls, rate limits, access logging and backups. No internet service can promise absolute security, so users must keep credentials and private meeting links confidential and report suspected access promptly.
The public website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It sends limited first-party interaction events directly to Evlent hosting so aggregate page-to-enquiry performance can be measured without placing an analytics cookie or sharing browsing activity with an advertising platform. The portal uses only storage and session mechanisms needed for login, security and portal operation.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service, providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
