The role
Structured support for serious 1-to-1 teaching
Evlent tutors teach online, follow an assigned curriculum, update progress and complete monthly assessment reports. Student matching considers subject expertise, teaching style, availability and time zone.

Shortlisted applicants receive a private link for the subjects and levels our team assigns.

Start with the essentials
Tell us about the subjects you teach, your experience and your availability. Our team reviews every application and personally shares a private assessment link with shortlisted tutors.
A considered selection process
Your subject assessment checks knowledge in practice: solving problems, recognising pupil misconceptions and choosing accurate explanations. Each assessment has 15 multiple-choice questions. Work on paper and select your answers on screen.

- 50 minutes
You need at least 13 of 15 correct in every assigned assessment. Our team then considers your results and application together. If selected, you will be invited to a live teaching interview to explain fresh problems and demonstrate how you support a learner.
Assessments run on a laptop or desktop in fullscreen. Switching tabs or windows, refreshing or leaving an active assessment voids the attempt. You can take breaks between assessments. Contact us before starting if you need an accessibility adjustment or help with your setup.
